Jessica Petta, Receptionist 

My name is Jessica and I'm excited to join the Nazareth community.  I appreciate how welcoming staff have been during my first week and look forward to working with everyone. I come from a predominantly beauty background and bring twenty plus years of customer service experience.  I am the mum of four boys.  Outside of work I enjoy reading, being creative and spending time with our two dogs and two cats when I'm not cooking for my boys.

Martina Gallus, Learning Support Officer 

Hello, my name is Martina, and I'm excited to be joining the school community as a Learning Support Officer.  I have five years of experience in childcare and kindergarten, as well as one year as a support worker.  I'm looking forward to getting to know the students, working alongside my colleagues, and supporting a positive and inclusive learning environment. Outside of work, I enjoy learning new languages, spending time outdoors, and exploring nature.

Professional Learning Spotlight: Embracing Artificial Intelligence 

At Nazareth College, we are committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Recently, members of our staff participated in professional learning focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its emerging role in education. 

The sessions explored how AI can be used responsibly to enhance teaching and learning, improve productivity, support creativity, and strengthen administrative practices, while maintaining a strong focus on ethical use, privacy and academic integrity. 

As technology continues to evolve, our commitment is to ensure that staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills to use AI thoughtfully and safely. This professional learning forms part of our broader commitment to providing students with a contemporary education that prepares them for an increasingly digital world. 

By investing in our staff, we continue to create engaging learning experiences while ensuring the highest standards of teaching, innovation and student wellbeing. 

Risk & Compliance 

As a subsidiary of Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Ltd (MACS), the College is implementing a number of new and updated policies to support good governance, privacy and the safety of our community.

Parent Access Module (PAM) Reminder 

To help us ensure the safety and wellbeing of every student, we kindly ask parents, carers and guardians to: 

• Promptly notify the College of your child's absence. 
• Ensure the College has up-to-date contact information, including emergency contact details. 
• Provide current student medical information, forms and action plans. 
• Submit consent for College activities, camps and excursions as soon as possible. 

Maintaining accurate and timely information enables the College to meet its duty of care responsibilities and ensures we can communicate effectively when required.
