Alumni Afternoon Tea

It was a pleasure to welcome back 3 of our Alumni students on Thursday 13th June to talk to our current Year 12 students about their tertiary and career pathways from the Class of 2021, 2022 and 2023 respectively.

Patrick Kyritsis from the Class of 2021 who has almost completed his Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science at Deakin University, spoke about his fast track pathway into this degree via the 1 year Diploma of Health Sciences at Deakin College.  The Diploma enabled him to jump immediately into second year of the Degree with no additional study required.  Patrick spoke of the advantages of this pathway and is already working in the field before even graduating!

Aimar Peoples from the Class of 2022 who is studying the Bachelor of Science at Monash University, spoke about his plans that upon completing this Undergraduate degree (he will then progress to the Post Graduate Degree in Medicine at Monash) and the advantages of studying an Undergraduate Degree prior to Post Graduate studies.

Finally, from the Class of 2023, our most recent Alumni, Noah Peoples spoke about entering his first year of University life and commencing his Bachelor of Medicine Degree at Monash University.

3 Alumni with 3 unique pathways provided excellent study, course, and career pathways advice to our students, inspiring us all.

Many thanks to Patrick, Aimar and Noah for sharing their journeys thus far. An additional thank you to Jamie Evans and crew from McDonald’s Clayton and Chadstone who provided us with some delicious afternoon tea for this event.
