Oakleigh Grammar went RED on Friday 16 June!

Middle School Captains together with Middle School Rose House Captains, Middle School Life and Culture Leaders and Middle School Social Justice Leaders organised the annual Red Nose Day for 2024.

The event took place on Friday 21 June. Students and staff came to school in casual clothes wearing an element of red to share awareness. ELC and Junior School students were able to buy red noses to highlight the importance of this worthwhile charity. Middle School Leaders also put together a Cake Stall for all Middle and Senior School students selling yummy desserts!

Red Nose Day is the “SIDS and Kids” major annual fundraiser, with all funds raised going towards providing vital services and programs to the Australian community. Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) is the sudden, unexplained death of a newborn child during sleep. Death usually occurs in the early hours of the morning and there is no noise or evidence of a struggle. SIDS and Kids is also dedicated to saving the lives of babies and children during pregnancy, birth, infancy and childhood and their areas of focus include education, research, national awareness campaigning, advocacy and fundraising.

Congratulations to all students who took part in our annual Red Nose Day event!
