Junior School

"Wind in the Willows" has been the highlight of our Junior School year. As we reflect on this experience, it reminds us of the importance of a school coming together to perform: "Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success."

In our school life, we have many firsts. For the students in the 2024 year, this was their first school production—a moment in time that shall not be forgotten, something they will forever share and talk about, a true gift. As we strive for greatness, we remember the words of Vince Lombardi: "Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection, we can catch excellence."

Our success was achieved through collaboration, a shared goal, and partnership—both within Oakleigh Grammar and with those outside our school community who wish to support the Performing Arts. Mr David Dunn adapted the script and co-wrote the songs, contributing significantly to our production. Additionally, our service in action was on display as we donated a percentage of the ticket sales to the Alannah and Madeline Foundation.

Congratulations again, to all staff, students, families and our community.
