Congratulations to our 11 year old girls 4 x 100m relay team who won a bronze medal at the State School Victoria Eastern Region Championships on Thursday 24 October. The girls did an amazing job and we are so proud of them. The photos below shows Heidi and Mackenzie with Paris Olympics 800m runner, Abbey Caldwell, as well as a photo of the girls with their medals! 

Congratulations to the school cricket team for becoming the Whitehorse Division Champions yesterday. All players made key contributions in the 3 comfortable wins and they were a credit to the school in their teamwork and sportsmanship. The team now moves on to the Eastern Metropolitan Region Finals next Friday November 8.

Last week, our school Orchestra and String Group travelled to the Box Hill Salvation Army for our annual concert, continuing a tradition that has been going for almost 20 years. The Orchestra worked hard to perform 7 pieces, the String Group performed 4 and we had excellent solos from Harris (6AC), Arushi (6AS) and Eason (5CB). A number of our students also prepared introductions for the piece and read them to the audience. We combined with Orchestra members from Rangeview PS, and the String Group included Rangeview and Blackburn Lake PS students. That added up to around 70 students performing!
