School Council

Dear Fellow Parents, 

Your children may have told you that the new toilets are finally open and working a treat. The process itself was very smooth, on time and on budget. We as a council are still petitioning through our local member for the prep-one toilets to be similarly upgraded. Hopefully that gets some traction somewhere down the track. 

You may have also seen Bernard and Rod, our maintenance team, fixing up the area around the BER with a tidy up, new planting and topping up gravel. This was in preparation for some further work in that area, and last week at school council a motion was passed to have that building re-painted over the school holidays. Pin boards will be installed in each of the rooms, and a continuation of the tidy and repair work will continue bringing these classrooms up to the standard of the rest of the school. 

Also at our meeting last week, discussion was held regarding the device our school will use from next year when students no longer bring their own device to school. Whilst this decision has not yet been finalised, some great work has been completed to date. Stay tuned for more.
