They have created their own songs, sung and danced to array of music, acted and perfomed as differrent charcters, as well as painted and illustrated many colourful art pieces. Read on to see how the term finished for our students.

In Music, our Preps contiuned to explore how the use of dynamics (loud and soft), tempo (fast and slow) as well as pitch (high and low) can change music, with them singing, playing and moving to the differerent songs in class. In Visual Arts, students explored how mixing primary colours together can create secondary colours, and how adding black or white to a colour can make a colour lighter or darker.

5/6

In Music, our 5/6 students have continued to explore the musical styles and instruments from around the world, including music from Latin America, as well the rhythms and beat of Blues music. They created their own songs in these styles to share with their class. In Drama, students have now blocked all the scenes in the production, with their next goal to begin memorising their lines for next term.
