BALLARAT WILDLIFE PARK EXCURSION
On Thursday 12 March, students enjoyed an exciting excursion to the Ballarat Wildlife Park. It was a fantastic day filled with learning and hands-on experiences with Australian wildlife!
One of the highlights of the day was feeding the friendly kangaroos, which the students absolutely loved. We also attended informative keeper talks about the penguins and dingoes, where students learned many interesting facts about these unique animals.
Throughout the day, students explored the park and observed a wide variety of animals including the tiger, Tasmanian devils, wombats, and snakes.
A clear favourite was Crunch the Crocodile, who certainly impressed everyone!
While exploring the park, students also completed a research sheet on their chosen Australian animal. This activity encouraged them to observe closely and collect information that will support their learning back in the classroom.
It was a wonderful day of discovery, learning, and fun for all involved.
