Year Three/Four News

Ballarat Wildlife Park Excursion - A recount written by Mia B and Scarlett J
On Thursday the 12th of March, the Year 3/4s went to the Ballarat Wildlife Park. We saw mammals, reptiles, carnivores and omnivores.
When we arrived, it was icy cold. We all arrived at the tigers, and the kangaroos were guarding the door waiting for food and pats. We ate lunch and saw the penguin show. Here are some facts about little penguins.
- Little Penguins are grey, white and blue.
- Little penguins don't have teeth inside of their little beak.
- Inside their beak is made of kertain, like your fingernails and hair.
After the penguin show, we went to see the dingo show. Here are two facts about dingoes.
- Dingoes have really strong teeth so they can hunt really well and when they get older they are really good at bringing food back to their young.
- Dingoes can smell food from one kilometre away.
That's the end of our Thunder Thursday at the Ballarat Wildlife Park.
