SMR Athletics

We had a successful day at the Southern regional athletics competition at Casey Fields on Thursday 10 October. The sun showed up for us and out of the 14 students who competed, 12 students won ribbons!

Special mentions to:

• Cassie Servadei - 1st in 14 years 800m and 1st in 1500m
• Ruby Lyons - 2nd in Open 1500m, 4th in 400m
• Isabel Petersen 2nd in Open high jump and 1st in triple jump
• Morgan Wydeman - 1st in 15 years triple jump
• Poppy Nowak, Issy Rogers, Grace Ash and Trinity Barrow - 2nd in 16 years 4x100m relay
• Sophie Milikins, Lily Sell, Ella Deaton and Claudia MacGowan - 3rd in 13 years 4x100m relay

Congratulations to all our sports performers and good luck to Cassie, Ruby and Morgan who are competing in the State athletics competition!
