Safira is one of our Year 11 VCE VM students who completed her last Structured Workplace Learning at Kingston Youth Services. From her amazing initiative and work ethic demonstrated Kingston Youth Services asked her to present an award at the Kingston Youth Awards Ceremony in September.

What an amazing achievement and a great opportunity for Safira to represent the amazing young people we have at MGSC! 

Safira's summary of the experience:

Despite being nervous, I appreciated the opportunity to further develop my public speaking skills and the trust that was given tom me in presenting the Youth Community Group of the Year and the Youth Citizen of the Year. Through engaging with Kingston Youth Services, I have continued to forge life long connections within the wider Kingston community with the other presenters and people involved in the awards ceremony. An experience I would not have had without the support of the school to engage in Structured Workplace Learning.
