PFA news
The Parents and Friends’ Association is all about community, and it was wonderful to witness that spirit last week during our Art Show! The event was a fantastic opportunity to admire the incredible talents of our students, and it was heartwarming to see so many families come together to celebrate creativity. If you were there, you might have noticed our dedicated volunteers serving refreshments. Their hard work ensured that everyone could enjoy the event while mingling and supporting our young artists. Thank you to all who participated and contributed to making the Art Show a success. It truly show-cased the vibrant community we have at MGSC. We look forward to more events that bring us together!

Additionally, we encourage everyone to put their name on the waitlist in case of any last-minute emergencies. This ensures we have enough help to make the day run smoothly. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you at the sausage sizzle!
Second Hand Uniform Shop
Term 4 is in full swing, and the Parents and Friends Association (PFA) is gearing up for our upcoming Uniform Sale on Tuesday 10 December, coinciding with Orientation Day. While this event is primarily targeted toward our future Year 7 students for 2025, everyone is welcome to purchase uniform items on the day. To ensure the success of the Uniform Sale, we are seeking donations/items for sale.
Currently, we are critically low on the following items:
● Summer dresses
● Navy tailored shorts
● Navy slacks
● Short sleeve blouses
● Sports polo tops
● Rugby jumpers
● School bags
We are also in need of skirt/pants hangers. If you have any spares please bring them to the uniform shop during opening hours or to the office and they will pass them on.
Please ensure that all donated items are washed and/or dry cleaned and in saleable condition. Our motto is simple: “If you wouldn’t buy it, neither will anyone else.” Your support is greatly appreciated and helps make this event a success for our school community. Thank you for your generosity!
