Capital Works Update

AFL Oval Update
We’re pleased to share the latest progress on the development of our new AFL oval.
The concrete edging and perimeter fencing have now been completed, helping to define the playing area and enhance safety.
Following recent rainfall, the condition of the oval is excellent. It's been encouraging to see the sand base performing as intended, with efficient drainage ensuring the surface remains in top shape.
The goal posts have now been installed, and ground marking is complete, bringing us one step closer to having a fully functional playing space.
The light tower footings have been dug, inspected and poured. The towers themselves are on site and ready to be erected in the coming days.
Finally, the coaches’ boxes will be installed as soon as the surrounding ground conditions allow.
Excitement is building as we approach the final stages of this project, and we look forward to seeing students make the most of this new facility very soon!
Delaney Toilet Upgrades
The Delaney toilet refurbishment is now approximately 80% complete, with excellent progress made over the past few weeks.
Both the electrical and plumbing works have been successfully roughed in, and all plastering has been completed, paving the way for the next stage of painting.
The new aluminium windows and external doors have been installed, enhancing both functionality and appearance. Internal doors are currently being fitted, along with wash basins and other fixtures.
We look forward to the completion of this project, which will provide students and staff with upgraded, modern amenities in the near future.
Apsley/Hopwood Building Courtyard Update
Exciting progress continues in the Apsley/Hopwood Courtyard area as part of our ongoing improvement works.
All gutters and fascias have now been replaced and freshly painted, giving the space a clean, refreshed look. The windows have been fully prepped and are ready for painting, which will further enhance the overall aesthetic of this central courtyard area.
We’re expecting the painting team to begin work this week, focusing on the windows, sills, and other areas requiring touch-ups. These upgrades will not only improve the visual appeal of the space but also contribute to a more welcoming and vibrant environment for students and staff to enjoy.
