A Busy Fortnight in the Library: Exams, Work Experience & a Long Weekend!
We started the week by observing the King’s Birthday, which offers everyone a brief but valuable break. Hopefully you used the time to recharge, catch up on sleep, or review your notes at your own pace.
It’s a big couple of weeks for our students, with Year 9, 10 and 11 exams underway and work experience kicking off for Year 10s next week. The school library is here to support you through it all.
For those sitting exams, the school library is here to help you stay focused, organised and calm. We know this time of year can feel a bit overwhelming, so we’ve got quiet study zones to help you prepare, and teachers are also utilising the space to provide tutorials. Whether you need help organising your notes, or just a calm environment to focus, we’re here for you. Remember, exams are important, but so is your wellbeing. Take regular breaks, stay hydrated and don’t hesitate to ask library staff if you need help finding resources.
If you’re heading out for work experience next week, good luck! This is a fantastic opportunity to gain insight into the working world and explore possible career paths.
Whatever your focus during the next fortnight - studying, working, or both - remember that the library is a place to find support, resources and a bit of calm. You’ve got this!
