Saplings for September
On Thursday, 17 September from 3:30pm until 4:30pm, Lumen Christi College will be holding a Tree Planting Afternoon, organised in collaboration with Parent Voice and the Sustainability Stewards Team.
This event is an invitation for parents, staff and students to come together and help plant seedlings on our school grounds. It is a practical way of living out Laudato Si' and our shared responsibility to care for our common home, with students, families and staff working side by side to give something back to the environment we share every day.
Planting these seedlings will bring lasting benefits to our College grounds, including improved shade, healthier soil, increased biodiversity, and a greener, more welcoming environment for our whole community for years to come.
Everyone is welcome to get involved, no experience necessary. Please BYO gloves.
