Archbishop Comensoli to Visit

On Friday, September 4, the Archbishop of Melbourne, Peter Comensoli, will be visiting our school and parish.

He will meet with staff and then celebrate Mass for the school and parish community.

He will visit the classrooms and join with the students' fathers as part of our Father's Day event.  This will be a great opportunity to meet and chat with the Archbishop in a less formal setting.

The Assumption of Mary into Heaven

On Wednesday, the school community will attend mass to celebrate this great feast day.  Along with Christmas, it is the only day outside of Sundays as a Holy Day of Obligation.  We will celebrate this Mass on Wednesday, as the Feast Day itself is on Saturday this year.

Students have been learning about Mary and this unique event in RE this week.
