Green Team. Week Six. Term Two.
Last week the Green Team harvested the carrots that had been planted last term. The carrot seeds were very generously donated by Jackson from 3/4D. It was lots of fun pulling them out and seeing if the carrots were big or small. We had some larger sized ones, some tiny ones and the majority were an ‘in between’ size! Apparently they tasted delicious! Jackson is bringing in more seeds and we will plant these next week, together with some spinach and silver beet. The Green Team will also be getting our garden beds ready to plant potatoes. We have had great success growing potatoes over the past couple of years and hopefully, this will continue.
Thank you very much.
Ms. Buchan.
