Nepal Trip 2026 – Fundraising and Preparation

In just under 5 weeks, a group of 13 Year 10 students are heading to Nepal.

This incredible 15-day journey immerses in Nepalese culture, service and exploration, where students will visit century old temples and the vibrant street life of markets and local craft stalls in Kathmandu before engaging in community service projects in a small Nepalese Village over four days. During this time, we will be assisting the community in a range of service projects which could include construction, education or environmental service.

A key part of the trip is for students to fundraise for the communities effected from the recent flash flooding in Nepal. Recent fundraising opportunities have included a car wash for staff, raffle prizes at the school’s Tula concerts, and a recent sausage sizzle for students and staff. From these fundraising activities we have raised just under $2000, however we aim to raise over $2500.

The following fundraising opportunity is open to the public in order to reach our goal. We have organised a second raffle including 4 prizes which include term swimming lessons at the Swim Academy, gift baskets donated by the Gap Day and Night Pharmacy and The Star Discount Pharmacy and a Gift Hamper donated by Jonty Bush.

The link below has more information about the raffle and draw date and allows you to secure your tickets online today. The raffle closes on Monday, 9th of November 2026 at 5:00pm, then prizes are drawn at 7:00pm at the P&C Meeting.
