International Day of Friendship

Earlier this term, our students celebrated International Day of Friendship by exploring what friendship means to them and creating their own paper chain link with their ideas.

Each class joined their links together before connecting with their year level, symbolising how we grow stronger when we come together. Our Wellbeing Captains then brought the year levels together to create one amazing whole-school friendship chain!

The completed chain was proudly presented to the school office and is now on display in our foyer as a reminder that every student is an important link in our school community.

R U OK? Day

We are acknowledging R U OK? Day today.

R U OK? Day is a National Day of Action that reminds us of the importance of meaningful conversations and checking in with the people around us. It encourages everyone to ask, “Are you OK?”, listen without judgement and let others know that they are supported.

It was wonderful to see our students embracing the day by wearing a touch of yellow and, weather permitting, enjoying lunch together on the oval as a whole school. We hope the day provides a positive opportunity for our students to connect, look out for one another and celebrate the importance of belonging and wellbeing within our school community.

Students from P-6 have enjoyed participating in the Puzzle Lunch club on Mondays. It has been great to see students of different ages working together to complete different levelled puzzles.
