Staff Interview - Kristy Smith Year 2

How long have you worked at BNPS?

I have worked at BNPS for 20 years. I have taught many students over that time.

What inspired you to work at our school?

When I first states at BNPS I didn’t know much about the school but quickly grew to love the staff, students and families. The BNPS Community is lovely to be a part of.

What career would have you pursued?

I love to create and have so many different ideas. I enjoy taking photos, interior design and building. I think I may have enjoyed architecture or graphic design.

What is your favourite thing to do on weekends?

I enjoy spending time at home with my family. We enjoy watching our daughter playing all her sports.

If you could go on a holiday anywhere in the World, where would you go? 

I love to travel. I have already been to many places but still have many more on my list. My top three destinations to visit at present include Japan, Northern Territory & Greece.

What is something that people would be surprised to know about you?

I can play the piano.

What recently made you smile?

When one of my students walked into the classroom singing “Oh yay, oh yay, Mrs Smith is here today!”
