Walk to School Breakfast
On our walk to school day we trialled our first porridge experience for a bonus breakfast club day. It was great to see so many students enjoying or trying out the porridge. The sun came out so we were able to sit on our picnic rugs. Those that didn't wish to have porridge selected Cheerios and milk. Thank you so much to all our helpers that made the walk and breakfast a success. A shout out to our Year 6 Breakfast Club Leaders who did an amazing job in the preparation, execution and clean up too!🥣😉We were also pleased to have the support of Steve Davies our local Victoria Police member join us for the walk.
As the weather changes a reminder that breakfast club could be in the WMC on any chilly Wednesday mornings. Thanks again to Foodbank Schools for supporting this initiative.
Beans & Beanies
On Friday the 19th of June we will be having "Beans and Beanies" day. For lunch students will be able to bring along their own bowl and spoon and enjoy a bowl of baked beans for lunch. Students can wear their favourite beanie with their school uniform. Gold coin donations would be appreciated to raise money for backpacks 4 VIC kids.
