News from the Deputy Principal

Wow, what a year! I cannot believe that the year has gone past in what seems like the blink of an eye.  I'm sure that I have only just got over last Christmas and already it is around again!

Thank you to all your wonderful families and the support you give to me, our leaders, and the whole school community.  We are very fortunate to have some of the most wonderful children in the valley at our school, and although I don't get to teach any of them, I enjoy catching up with them every morning while on duty and when I visit their classrooms.  They are indeed a great bunch!  I look forward to working with you next year and hope that all of you have a very Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year.

Giving Tree

The Giving Tree is once again up and running. If you have something you would like to contribute to the giving tree, please place it under the tree in the office area.

Free Pews

We have 2 pews from Sacred Heart Church in Warburton, free to good homes!   They are perfect for taking in the afternoon sun while sitting on your verandah or as a garden seat (with a lick of paint to protect them).  If you are interested in one,  please contact me via email (first in, best dressed). kvranken@sjyarrajunction.catholic.edu.au

Carols at Chris' Christmas Tree Farm

Recently, at the opening of Chris's Christmas Tree Farm, we had some of our students singing beautiful carols with the help of Jess Worrall and Sam Forbes in support of Charlie Fraser's fundraiser.  The students looked amazing on stage and sang beautifully as well.  To top it off, they raised $125 in cash as well as operating a QR code to donate directly to the GoFundMe site.

Charlie's family have a big fundraiser this Sunday at the Mt Evelyn Recreational Grounds.
