Dear Parents and Carers,
We are enjoying a fantastic end to 2025 here at St Joseph's with a range of exciting activities and plenty more to come. Thanks to Laura Van Der Vlugt and Lyndal Lawrie from our Parents & Friends, we had a fantastic day out Tree Surfing at Arthur's Seat. Terry Foley organised Tennis Lessons for our students. Meredith and Rebecca arranged our F/1/2 Inquiry Afternoon..... and what about our Art Show and Christmas Carols? A massive thank you to our STEAM teacher, Mrs Alice Hermansen, for her curation of works and for giving our students the opportunity to explore their creative side. Thanks again to Lisa Bourke for everything she did to make our Christmas Carols such a lovely night.

Looking ahead, there is plenty more to look forward to.

Term Conclusion
I would like to acknowledge the dedication of our teaching and support staff, who give so generously of their time, expertise and care. Their commitment to each child’s wellbeing and learning is at the heart of everything we do here at St Joseph's, and I thank them for their tireless efforts throughout the year.
To our parents and carers, thank you for your ongoing partnership. Whether it is attending school events, volunteering, engaging in conversations around learning, or simply supporting your children day-to-day, your involvement strengthens the fabric of our community.
As we prepare to farewell our Year 6 students, we send them forward with pride. We pray that they carry the values of our school into the next chapter of their journey, confident, capable and guided by faith. They leave behind a legacy of leadership, joy, and contribution that we deeply appreciate.
To all families travelling over the break, we wish you safe journeys. May the Christmas season bring peace, joy and renewal to your homes. As we celebrate the birth of Christ, let us also find time to rest, reconnect and appreciate the blessings around us.
Thank you for a wonderful year. We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for a new year of learning, growth and opportunity.
Wishing every family a blessed Christmas and a restful holiday.
Kind regards,
Nick.
