         SCHOOL NEWS

Today, our students enjoyed a wonderful performance by the talented musicians from De La Salle College Malvern at the Rushworth Shire Hall. The concert featured a range of ensembles, including vocalists, guitarists, percussionists and the stage band, showcasing the hard work and dedication that goes into learning and performing music.

Students were amazed by the musicians' talent, confidence and enthusiasm. The interactive finale was a highlight, with many students joining in and having fun alongside the performers. It was a fantastic opportunity to experience live music and an inspiring morning for everyone involved.

         🌟 Building Foundations – 2027 Foundation Transition Program 🌟

Do you have a child starting Foundation in 2027? We would love to welcome them to St Mary’s School Rushworth as they begin their school journey.

Our Building Foundations Transition Program provides children with the opportunity to become familiar with the school environment, meet staff and future classmates, and build confidence before starting school.

The program begins with a Come & Try Morning on Friday 18th September, followed by a series of transition sessions throughout Term 4 and the Statewide Transition Day in December.

We encourage families considering St Mary’s for their child’s education to come along and experience our warm, welcoming school community. Principal-led tours are also available by appointment.

For more information, please contact the school office or scan the QR code on the flyer to access our online enrolment enquiry form.

We look forward to meeting our future Foundation students and their families! 💙

When entering and leaving the carpark, please be mindful of other vehicles and pedestrians.  In the morning we ask that parents park in the carpark and walk their child/ren across the road to the back gate.

After school the teacher on duty will walk the students to the tennis court gate.  Parents can then collect their child from the fence. NO child is to walk through the car park without an adult.

We also ask that all cars are parked facing the south (bush) and that they leave via behind the school hall onto Reed St.

This is to alleviate the busyness of the Hume St entrance.

You are asked not to park near the tennis fence close to the entrance

to the carpark as our students wait in that area.
