Eucalyptus House

Hi everyone!!! My name is Zahra, and I am proud to be the Year 12 SRC, representing Eucalyptus. 

This is my first time being part of the SRC team (my first rodeo) and I am pretty excited. One of the things I enjoy most about being an SRC is the opportunity to meet and speak with so many of you to bring your visions for our House in 2026 to life, and be part of a change students want to see in their House. I absolutely love to hear about all the amazing ideas you guys have, so that we can all work together as a team towards making it happen. I am really honoured to be part of the team and deliver meaningful work one last time. 

The Swimming Carnival was the highlight of Term 1! A great level of enthusiasm and support was shown from all year levels. We had a large number of students participating in the games and events, particularly from Years 7 and 8, which was a courageous act. Students' encouragement and support of each other was outstanding. This was a great bonding experience for the students in the House to all work as a team and also have a fun time. Students who were limited in their participation, however, did cheer on our participants and lifted their spirits. Through a collaborative effort and significant enthusiasm, Eucalyptus came second!!!!! I congratulate everyone in the House on this big achievement. Continue to show our House pride and be proud of what you have accomplished. 

As we head into the school holidays, I hope all of you get to enjoy a restful break. Make sure to recharge and certainly enjoy your school holidays to the fullest. (That is a must before you start Term 2!)

Final words, a big thank you to everyone in the House for your enthusiasm and participation you have shown so far into the year. We are looking forward to going all out next term with a lot more opportunities awaiting you guys to show our House pride.
