As we close out Frankston High School’s centenary year, let’s come together to make Best Fest a memorable event for all! This community festival promises a fantastic day with activities for everyone – from students and families to friends and alumni. Here’s a taste of what’s in store:

Spread the Word! We encourage everyone to invite friends, family, and the wider community to join the festivities. With something for all ages, Best Fest is the perfect way to celebrate the end of exams, the coming of summer, and our school’s incredible history!

Wristbands for Unlimited Rides 🎡 Entry to the event is free, but to make the most of Best Fest, you can purchase an unlimited-ride wristband. Pre-sale prices are available for a limited time at $35 for one wristband or $30 each when purchasing two or more (a 25% early bird discount!). Don’t miss out – purchase yours today.

Get Involved in Promotion 📣 Students, parents, and staff, your enthusiasm makes all the difference! Spread the word by talking to friends, sharing the excitement on social media, and asking, “Are you going to Best Fest?” Posters are available in lunchrooms if you'd like to help promote the event around school and the community.

Raffle Donations Needed 🎁 We are looking for donations for the Best Fest raffle! If you or someone you know has items, vouchers, or other contributions, we’d love to include them. All proceeds go towards supporting our school, and donors will be recognised by the organisers. For donations, please contact Jon Christie at jchristie@fhs.vic.edu.au.

Best Fest Music Performance

All our Music students are also looking forward to performing at our centennial “Best Fest” celebrations on Friday 22 November. All Concert Band students will be performing under cover out the front of the stadium and we will also be having fantastic music in the courtyard outside Room 73. As part of Best Fest we have also been reaching out to former Music students and are excited about forming our Alumni Band that will be performing last on the evening. 

Best Fest 100 years Reading Circles Fundraiser 

The Library, English Department and QBD Books will be running a fundraiser at Best Fest to procure books for the new Year 7 and 8 English Reading Circles in 2025.   

Please visit our stand and consider donating a book to our collection. It will be very much appreciated!  Donated books will include a 100 year commemorative plaque with the donors' names inside the front cover. QBD Books will also be bringing a range of books for purchase on the day. 

Hands on Learning Stall

HoL will be holding a stall at Best Fest, so please drop by to chat with us about the program and to buy a veggie seedling or two!
