Best Fest 100 years Reading Circles Fundraiser

The Library, English Department and QBD Books will be running a fundraiser at Best Fest to procure books for the new Year 7 and 8 English Reading Circles in 2025.

Please visit our stand and consider donating a book to our collection. It will be very much appreciated!  Donated books will include a 100 year commemorative plaque with the donors' names inside the front cover. QBD Books will also be bringing a range of books for purchase on the day.

As we count down to the end of Term 4, read on to find out what’s happening in the Library!

MakerSpace

We are getting crafty every Wednesday and Thursday lunchtime!  Come and join in!

In the last couple of weeks we have made some spooky Halloween macrame keychains and learned to crochet - which is really tricky!!

In the coming weeks we will be doing air dried clay Christmas ornaments and bead bracelets.

Lego will always be available for those who want to build and create with blocks.

To ensure everyone has a chance to participate, please register at the library desk as there will be limits on the number of spots available.

Final Borrowing for the Year

All Library Loans must be returned by Monday 25 November (first day of Early Commencement) to allow us to stocktake our collection.  Reminders will be sent after the date, however any loans still outstanding at the end of the school year will be charged for a replacement

ePlatform, our eBook and Audiobook library will still be available for reading through the holidays.

Free Books!!

Come and browse our Free Book table – you might find a treasure!  We are currently weeding our collection of old or damaged books and will be adding to the pile over the next few weeks.
