Term 3 has been an incredible term, filled with so many rich learning experiences, new discoveries and opportunities for the children to grow.
In Physical Education, the children have continued to develop their movement and sporting skills through a range of activities. With the wonderful support of our Year 6 helpers, Sahil and Charlie, the children have practised throwing, catching, running, gymnastics and teamwork. It has been fantastic to see their confidence and skills grow.
In Phonics, the children have continued their weekly learning with Miss Emmett. They have been developing their knowledge of letters and sounds, building their confidence and beginning to recognise how sounds connect to words and early reading.
Science has been a real highlight this term as we explored the "Wonder of Space". The children have been fascinated by planets, astronauts, aliens and rockets. We have created our own aliens, designed and built rockets, explored planets and shared some wonderful ideas and questions about what might be beyond Earth.
We have also continued to focus on creativity, independence and children's agency. The children have been encouraged to make their own choices, share their ideas, problem-solve and take ownership of their learning.
It has been wonderful to watch the children become more confident, curious and independent learners throughout the term. We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved!
