OSHClub News

Week 5

What an exciting week we’ve had at OSHClub! Our Passport to Play adventures continued as we explored different countries, cultures and activities through food, creativity, sport and lots of fun.

Our Breakfast Club was a delicious way to start each morning, with yoghurt cones, milkshakes, sprinkle pancakes and refreshing smoothies. At Snack Squad, we enjoyed noodles, tacos, popcorn and crackers with dip platters, there was something for everyone!

Our creative activities continued our Passport to Play theme, with children painting famous landmarks, creating countries with Hama beads, designing global flag bracelets, making DIY language cards and puppets from around the world, and painting colourful country flags with watercolours. We also took advantage of the weather and got creative with our very own kite making!

For our physical activities, we kept busy with footy, soccer, Gagaball, dodgeball, table tennis, Fruit Salad and Farmer Sam. There were plenty of opportunities to get active, work as a team and challenge ourselves!

Pupil Free Day

Our Around the World Pupil Free Day was a huge success! Children grabbed their 'passports' and travelled around the world, experiencing a range of fun activities inspired by different countries. In Japan, we enjoyed an origami workshop; in Mexico, we made our own colourful maracas; and in England, we relaxed with a High Tea Picnic featuring delicious scones, sandwiches and treats. We travelled to Brazil for soccer skills, visited Italy to make our own mini pizzas, explored India through beautiful Rangoli Art using coloured rice grains, and finished our adventure in China with paper lanterns and Chinese calligraphy. It was a fantastic day full of creativity, culture, new experiences and plenty of laughs! What a wonderful week of learning, exploring and playing our way around the world!

Accessing After hours

For the safety of all families, we ask that parents and carers enter and exit through the side pedestrian gate next to Reception when collecting children after hours, rather than through the reception area. This designated access point provides a safer route to the OSHC service and helps minimise the need for families to walk through areas that may not be supervised or accessible after school hours. Thank you for supporting our commitment to maintaining a safe environment for everyone.

Enrolling Your Child

For new enrolments, please go to https://www.oshclub.com.au/register/

A helpful video for navigating the iParent Portal and completing the enrolment process can be found on this page.

Please note: CRN numbers and all birth dates must be entered correctly if you wish to claim the Child Care Subsidy. CCS applications are submitted automatically to Centrelink when new enrolments are actioned.

Bookings

Online bookings for Rise then Shine and Stay and Play sessions close 24 hours in advance. Online bookings for the Holiday Program and Curriculum Days close 5 days in advance.

If online bookings have closed, and you would like to make or cancel a booking, please SMS the program phone on 0427 144 945.

Cancellation of Bookings

IMPORTANT: If your child is booked in for an afternoon Stay and Play session and that booking is no longer required, please cancel the booking on the iParent Portal. If you are cancelling on the day, please contact us on the program phone before 3:25pm to avoid a non-notified absence fee of $20.00 per child.

We are responsible for all children booked into our care. If a child does not arrive after school care when booked in to attend, we will need to confirm the whereabouts of the child by contacting parents/guardians and emergency contacts. If we cannot successfully do this, it then becomes a missing child incident.

As you can imagine, this can be very stressful!

Thanks for your cooperation by notifying us of any Stay and Play absences.
