Today our school community came together to celebrate Harmony Day – a day that recognises and values the cultural diversity that strengthens who we are.
Across classrooms today, students engaged in learning and conversations that highlighted inclusion, respect, and a sense of belonging. Whether through shared stories, cultural activities, or simply taking time to reflect on what makes each of us unique, the message was clear: everyone belongs.
It was wonderful to see students proudly embracing and sharing their backgrounds, while also showing curiosity and respect for others. These are not just one-day experiences – they are part of the everyday work of our school, building a community where each person feels safe, valued, and connected.
Harmony Day reminds us that diversity is not something to simply acknowledge, but something to actively celebrate. As a school, we remain committed to fostering an environment where every student is known, respected, and supported to thrive.
Thank you to our staff and students for the way they engaged so thoughtfully in celebrating one another, and this important day.
