Thank you BWalsh Plumbing!
Past pupil and local businessman Brandon Walsh has kindly donated money that went towards our new school netball dresses!
Brandon was a student at Beaufort a long time ago, and he also represented the school in after school netball.
Now, he has his own local business and supports the local community with his services and sponsorship.
Our afterschool netball team are so appreciative of Brandon and his kind donation.
After School Netball
Last Wednesday, the girls played St Francis Xavier. It was close throughout the first half. At half time we were up 4-3. Baylee shot 3 goals and Alana 1. In the second half we changed the positions around, girls playing in foreign positions. They are learning to how to play new positions and adapt to their preferred. This allowed St Francis to take control of the game, however the girls fought it out and worked as a team perfectly. The end score was 12-8. In the second half Alana shot 1 goal and Elsie 3. We have a bye this Wednesday, but looking forward to Winter Sports Friday.
Thank you to Carla Baker, looking after the team while I was away. I appreciate your help and any other parents that helped out while I was away.

Winter Sports Football
Last Wednesday, we took 20 students into Ballarat for our Winter Sports AFL 9s day. We had two teams play 4 games each. The Grade 6 boys team were quite successful, winning 3 of their 4 games and coming 2nd in their pool, just missing out on finals. Our mixed/development team won one of their four games but saw plenty of improvement and amazing cooperation, with them coming up with their own team plans and where people should play in what position! Everyone should be proud with they represented our school and how well you all played!
Thank you to Mr Alex Miller for driving the mini bus and coaching the mixed team, you did a great job and made the day great.
Mr Nick Franc for taking care of all players and supporting them through. Also helping out with the Grade 6 boys team.
Thank you to all family members and Miss Kennedy for supporting the teams!
