Mr Shuttleworth

SEL is looking a bit different for a lesson or two. As a school, we give our students the opportunity to give feedback around how we are going as a school and how their teacher is going in the classroom. This term, our students are completing different surveys to help us improve as a school:

  • Our Year 4-6 students are completing the Attitudes to School Survey to give us feedback around their whole school experience. This helps us to identify what the school is doing well and what we need to improve on.
  • Our Year 1-6 students are completing Pivot's Teaching and Learning survey. These surveys provide individual teachers with feedback on their teaching so they know what their strengths are and what goals they can work towards.

In the meantime, I'd encourage families to have a look at The Resilience Project's Parents' and Carer's Hub. This site has lots of great resources related to the work we do around Gratitude, Empathy, Mindfulness, and Emotional Literacy.
