Group 6

Group 6 has had a very successful Term 2! Renee and I are so proud of everyone’s hard work and accomplishments. Footy Day was a huge success in Prep, everyone came together to play with balloons, parachutes, shakers, bubbles and more! 

The past two weeks we have been focusing on the book “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle. Students listened to the story and matched images from the book. We followed a predictable chart writing framework to create a class text “The Very Hungry Group 6.” Students tried a different fruit for each day of the week, just like the caterpillar in the book. Students communicated if they liked or didn’t like the fruit. We also completed caterpillar and fruit crafts in art.
