Group 22

Group 22 have had a very busy term engaging with lots of interesting learning in and outside the classroom. As part of our Farm focus, we have been looking at all sorts of living things on farms including all the different plants and animals. We have done explorations through songs, stories, art and hands on activities. We looked at the different features of sheep and then used collage materials to make some very happy sheep bounding over paper grass and mud.

We love being creative. We have explored lots of different art techniques and materials and produced some lovely art works. We were very proud to see them displayed at the School Art Exhibition. We love celebrating and being part of school wide celebrations, especially through our music explorations with song, movement and playing different instruments including traditional Aboriginal instruments during National Reconciliation Week.

We love being physical and getting active, trying out new sports and getting in the pool for swimming. We all had a go at bocce and got the hang of how it works. We really improved at getting the ball to roll smoothly to hit the pins. Footy/Soccer Day was a highlight, with team rivalry starting to show with the different kit, face painting and throwing, passing and kicking goals. The swimming pool is always one of our happy places! Our confidence and techniques keep on growing and developing.

It’s been a wonderful term with lots of fun, laughter and learning.

We would like to wish you all a wonderful holiday break.

We look forward to seeing you next term
