Group 4

As term 2 comes to an end, here are some of the highlights in Group 4 😊
We started the term celebrating Reconciliation Week. The children learned about Tiddalick the Frog who caused a flood. They enjoyed the reading of the story, learning about different animals, making a paper plate frogs and most of all, helping Tiddalick the frog empties the water in his mouth.
Throughout the term, Group 4 has been focusing on developing their fine motor skills. They practiced chopping wooden fruits with a wooden toy knife. Some of the children practiced their writing skills by tracing the letters in their names. As for communication, Group 4 have been consistently using visual boards to make choices during activities with plenty of modelling to develop appropriate requesting.
To finish up the term, the children have been making homemade playdough to enjoy with during the holidays. We wish everyone a happy term break and we will see you in two weeks! Thank you 😊
