Group 16

Group 16 has had a fantastic term of new and exciting activities in the classroom. This term, students in Group 16 have been exploring a brand-new integrated program designed to enrich their learning across a variety of disciplines—including cooking, recycling, humanities, shared reading, literacy, and technology. The classroom has been buzzing with excitement as students dive into hands-on, real-world learning experiences that foster creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.
Each week, students take turns preparing simple recipes during our cooking sessions, learning essential life skills while practicing teamwork and responsibility. In our recycling session, students have taken ownership of classroom recycling systems and going around the school together to collect and bin paper. In Humanities students have enjoyed learning the topic of community work in our neighbourhoods and learning different cultures/animals around the world. Shared reading circles have become a highlight, where students delve into picking their favourite books through physical form or online.
We’re proud of the incredible effort our students are putting into this new program, and we’re excited to continue nurturing their growth in the months ahead. Great work, Group 16!
