Group 5

As we reach the end of Term 2, we celebrate a wonderful milestone—our Prep students have completed their very first semester of school! It has been a term filled with growth, discovery, and many proud moments.

Throughout this semester, our focus has been on building strong foundations in routines, communication, play, and social interaction. Group 5 students have developed an understanding of their daily routines, helping to create a sense of predictability and security in their learning environment.

We have seen incredible progress in the way our students communicate, both with adults and with one another. Whether using words, visuals, gestures, or technology, students are finding their voices and expressing their needs, ideas, and feelings with growing confidence.

Play has continued to be a vital part of our learning, offering opportunities for creativity, exploration, and collaboration. Through structured play, students are learning to take turns, share, negotiate, and build friendships—skills that are essential for lifelong learning and wellbeing.

We are so proud of all that our Prep students have achieved so far. Thank you to our families for your continued support—your partnership makes all the difference. We look forward to even more learning, growth, and joy in Term 3!
