Principals Report

"Success is the sum of small efforts – repeated day in and day out." – Robert Collier
As we wrap up Term 2, I’d like to take a moment to thank our incredible staff, students and families for another term filled with progress, connection, and celebration.
Last week, we ended the term on a high with our much-loved Footy Day! It was fantastic to see students and staff proudly wearing their team colours, participating in footy-themed activities, and enjoying a sense of school spirit and fun. Days like these highlight the strength of our community and the joy of shared experiences.
This term brings some staffing changes to our school community. We say a heartfelt goodbye to Marianne, one of our classroom teachers, and wish her the very best with her next steps and extend our very best wishes to Sarah as she begins her maternity leave. Finally, we warmly welcome Anna O’Connell who will be joining our team next term as a classroom teacher in group 16.
We are continuing to actively recruit the right teachers and education support staff to join our school community. As you may be aware, there is an ongoing nationwide teacher shortage across Australia, which presents significant challenges. Despite this, we remain committed to finding dedicated and skilled staff who will support our students and contribute positively to our school.
Thank you to everyone for your continued support and partnership. We wish all our families a safe and restful break, and we look forward to seeing you in Term 3.
Warm regards,
Lindy Abernethy
Principal
