Victorian Equestrian Interschool Showjumping Series

Our Year 11 student Xanthe Wade competed at the Round 3 of the Victorian Equestrian Interschool Showjumping Series, held at Riddles Creek on the weekend.

Xanthe was named Overall Champion in Level 4 Progressive, also winning Round 2 of the series, achieving back-to-back championships. She also competed in Level 5 Aspiring on her second horse, finishing as Reserve Champion.

Maffra Secondary College placed 6th overall in the competition.

Xanthe will now progress to the Grand Final of the series, to be held at Werribee Park on 14 June.

Xanthe has been selected as a finalist in the Equestrian Victoria Young Ambassador Program for the Showjumping discipline. As part of this program, Xanthe will attend a leadership day at Werribee Park on Saturday and will take part in a ridden weekend on 11–12 July.
