It was great to have the FOMAD exhibition again this year. It is a delightful and rewarding experience to look at the wide range of Art, Design and Media on show.
Setting up the exhibition takes a few days to do and as the displays come together, it is always an enormous pleasure to view the beautiful and unique work of our students across all year levels.
The exhibition is also a valuable event for our VCE Head Start program, as the 2025 Year 11 and 12 students tour the exhibition, looking not just at finished work and products, but sketchbooks and folios as well. The sketchbooks and folios are great examples of the ways students have explored and developed their ideas and techniques before they make their final artworks and products.
As part of FOMAD we awarded Art Prizes to students that have demonstrated a passionate approach to art making and design. Each recipient received a collection of art supplies (water colour paper, water colours and pencils).
