Deakin University research invitation
Researchers at Deakin University are conducting a study to understand physical activity and sitting time practices of mothers and children of South Asian origin currently living in Australia. A total of about 500 mothers will participate in this online survey.
You are eligible to participate in this research project if you are of South Asian origin, a mother of a child aged 2-12 years, speak English, and currently live in Australia. Participation in this study is completely voluntary, and you can remain anonymous. Click here to know more.
Hard Quiz Kids Season 2 Audition
We had so much fun last series, we’re making more episodes of HARD QUIZ KIDS!
Applications are now open. We’re looking for kids who’ll be in Year 5, 6 or 7 in 2025 who are an expert on a special topic.
Please read the attached information if you're interested. Applications close midnight on 23 February 2025.

Fun and engaging kids group fitness classes are available at Active Monash! Boost your child’s confidence and watch them develop their physical potential in activities that are both exciting and challenging.
We cater for a range of ages and abilities, with our kids group programs on offer:
- Monday’s at 4:40pm - Active Kids (Ages 6+)
- Wednesday’s at 4:40pm Active Abilities Kids (Ages 6+)
- Thursday’s at 4:40pm Teen Fit (Ages 12+)

Cave Hill Creek Summer Camps
We’re thrilled to announce that registrations for Summer Camp 2025 are now open! Your child may be familiar with our school programs, but the adventure and excitement does not stop there. Our Cave Hill Creek Summer Camp program offers more than twelve exciting activities – including archery, raft building and we’ve added a thrilling new vertical challenge. Cave Hill Creek was the location of this year's Year 5 Camp.
Summer Camp is the perfect opportunity to kick those post school camp blues by bringing along a friend or sibling and exploring everything Cave Hill Creek has to offer!
Our program, designed for children aged 8 to 14, is filled with activities they already love, plus some exciting new additions!
Camp Dates for 2025:
- Camp #31: Monday 6 January – Friday 10 January
- Camp #32: Monday 13 January – Friday 17 January
- Camp #33: Monday 20 January – Friday 24 January
Pricing:
- Single child: $1,099
- 2nd sibling: $879
- 3rd+ sibling: $769
We’re also introducing a new program for teens aged 14-15! Our Summer Camp-Out program offers an exciting opportunity for teens to challenge themselves with new adventures like hiking, exploring, and expanding their outdoor skills.
Summer Camp-Out Dates:
- Monday 13 January – Friday 17 January (spots are filling fast!)
- Pricing: $1,549 per participant

Fundraising Trivia Night
Impact is excited to invite you to a special event that promises to be both fun and meaningful - a Fundraising Trivia Night hosted by Hotel Chadstone on December 3rd. This evening is dedicated to raising money to support women and children escaping domestic violence.
This event is not just about bringing the community together for a good cause; it's also an excellent opportunity to enjoy a fantastic evening with friends and family. Expect great food, fun trivia and the chance to bid on some amazing items in our silent auction.
