Sustainability

Hello lovely Essex Heights Community,

As we near the end of the year, it's time to thank everyone who has rolled up their sleeves to assist with the Sustainability program at Essex Heights in 2024. Families have helped by either being involved in the bin roster or the animal husbandry role of caring for the schools beloved chickens. Over the Summer holiday period, we will be looking for people to water the orchard and raised garden beds and to care for the chickens.

Please contact me if you still have a key to the coop or are interested in helping out over the break. It's a great way to support our school community and to feel connected.
