Art Festival

Dear Parents and Carers,

🎨 THE COUNTDOWN IS ON! 🎨

We are just days away from Great Ryrie Primary School’s Art Festival – WILD ABOUT ART! Come along on Thursday 15th October from 3.30–6.00pm as we transform our school grounds into a celebration of creativity, imagination and the incredible artistic talents of our students.

Our students have been working hard throughout the year to create an amazing collection of artworks, and we can’t wait for you to see them! The Student Gallery will be filled with colourful, creative and wonderfully wild artworks that are sure to WOW you.

But there’s much more to the Art Festival than fantastic art! There will be plenty of activities and entertainment for the whole family, including:

• 🍫 Chocolate Toss
• 🎁 Teacher Mystery Bags
• 🎨 Body Art
• 📸 Photo Booth
• 🏃 Outdoor Games
• 🔬 STEM Activities
• 🖼️ Student Art Auction
• 🎲 Backwards Bingo
• 🎶 Student Music Performances

And, of course, there will be plenty to keep everyone fuelled throughout the afternoon, with a BBQ, cake stall and coffee van.

As this is a school fundraising event, some activities will require a gold coin to participate, and entry to the Student Gallery will be by gold coin donation. So, start collecting those coins and bring along a pocketful of change!

Most importantly, this is an opportunity for our GRPS community to come together, celebrate our students and enjoy an afternoon of art, fun, food and fundraising.

We can’t wait to see you there – and we hope you’re ready to get WILD ABOUT ART! 🎨🦁🌈
