A Day in the Upper Primary
Bike Ed, MiniBOSS Smoothie Bar, Animal Adaptations
Our Grades 5 and 6 students have officially kicked off their Victorian Bike Ed program!

Students have already started their weekly on-site riding sessions, using the safety of our school grounds to master bike handling, control, and vital road safety awareness before they head out into the community.
Over the coming weeks, they will continue building the confidence they need to ride independently and safely.
What students are focusing on:
Road & Traffic Skills: Practising scanning, hand signals, navigating intersections, and riding safely in small groups.
To put all their hard work and safety training to the test, they will celebrate the conclusion of the program with an epic cohort ride! On Thursday, 12 November, students will ride out from the school grounds to conquer a scenic route along the Springers Reserve, Keysborough.
Our Grade 5/6 students recently became entrepreneurs for a day during an exciting, hands-on incursion with The Smoothie Bar by MiniBOSS!
The students worked in teams to launch their very own smoothie businesses from scratch. Throughout the day, the students took on real-world business roles and learned what it takes to be successful business owners. During the program, students:
Pitched their ideas: Presented their final business plans and products to their peers.
It was fantastic to see our senior students collaborating, problem-solving, and showing incredible financial literacy and teamwork skills. A huge congratulations to all of our budding young entrepreneurs! Check out some photos of our students and their delicious creations below!

Our Grade 5/6 students proudly showcased their creative animal adaptations, bringing their imaginary creatures and habitats to life through clay models and dioramas.
It was fantastic to see students share their creations, explain their adaptations and celebrate their learning with others.

Well done, Grade 5/6! We loved seeing your creativity and imagination shine!
