Early Years Woodworking Incursion 

As part of our Integrated Studies learning, Early Years students participated in a hands-on woodworking incursion exploring design, materials, and tool safety. They learned how to carefully hammer in and remove nails before following step-by-step instructions to create their own ‘Creature on Wheels’. Through this practical experience, students developed their fine motor skills, patience, and confidence in designing and building. The incursion also provided a wonderful opportunity to practise teamwork, with students sharing ideas, helping one another, and taking pride in their finished creations.
