From the Head of Music's Desk

Spring Concert

Thank you to all the students who participated in the Spring Concert on Thursday, 29 October. What a wonderful evening of celebration for all the hard work that our students have put in within the music department! We heard from the Primary Chapel Choir, Year 7 Band, Year 8 Band, Senior Band, contemporary groups and the Chapel Band. 

Thank you especially to the Year 12 students who came back to join in. We will miss you next year, but wish you all the very best for your musical endeavours as the years go on. My prayer for you is to never stop playing your instruments and to continue to use your musical skills and gifts to praise the Lord and bring joy to those around you for as long as you can. May you enter this new journey of life with a sense of accomplishment. All our current music students look up to you and treasure the time they have been able to spend making music with you. Thank you for all you have given to the Christway music department over your years attending the school.

AMEB Exams

Over the next few weeks, we have nine students completing their AMEB music practical exams. We wish you all the best as you prepare for these exams and pray for God’s peace during your performances. We pray that you will be able to practise well and go into your exams knowing you can rest on the work that you have put in all year. We can’t wait to celebrate your achievements in the coming weeks.

2027 Private Instrumental Music Enrolments

Enrolments are now open for students to learn an instrument in 2027. We would love to get a head start on enrolments so that students can start their lessons as early as possible in the new year. Please see the Information Booklet and Enrolment form below:
