Confirmation First Eucharist

Congratulations to all our candidates and their families on making the sacraments of First Eucharist on the weekend. Both Masses were fabulous celebrations, and the children were very engaged . A big thank you to our Year 4 team of Mrs Bonat, Mrs Dishot, Mrs Smith and Mrs Stacey as well as Madonna and Paige. They did an amazing job with the children. Thanks also to all the staff who were at Mass supporting our children and to the children who came and joined the choir for either Saturday night or Sunday morning.

These students will be rewarded with a hot chip lunch on Wednesday June 10th.

Reconciliation is our next Sacrament for our Year 3 students’ next term. I will let you know dates as soon as possible.

Sacred Heart Day

Our next whole school, celebration is our School Feast Day which will be held on Friday June 12th at 10am in the MPB at Sacred Heart College. This a great opportunity for both schools to come together and celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart. We will then come back to school for a tabloid sports afternoon organised by our very clever Yr 6 students. Everyone is invited to join us for Mass.

Fatima Celebration

We will be holding the rescheduled Fatima Day on Tuesday June 9th. All students in Fatima are encouraged to wear Red and join in on a fun afternoon straight after lunch in the Mercy Centre.

Mercy Award Designs

We are coming to the end of our Mercy Award Design competition, and we have been overwhelmed with some amazing entries. Just a reminder to all our students to get an entry or lots of entries in before the end of term.

Although it’s cold and miserable it’s great to see our prayers answered with this beautiful rain.
