Father's Day/Special Person's Breakfast
Another fabulous breakfast took place in the school hall on Friday 5th September to celebrate fathers and other special people in our families. A massive shout-out to our chefs, Grant Flack (dad of Charlie and Spencer) and Rohan (dad of Eleanor) who volunteered to take care of the BBQ on the morning, cooking over 150 bacon and egg rolls!
Another huge thanks to the students and teachers from Bundoora Secondary College who came to cook poffertjes and make coffees and hot chocolates on the day; we couldn't do it without you!
Thanks to Dayna for coordinating the event, and to other parents and staff members who helped make the breakfast a great success!
Special Person's/Father's Day Stall
On Friday 5th September the Parents' and Friends' Association held our annual Special Person's and Father's Day stall. What a fantastic day it was. The children were so eager to see what special gifts they could choose for the important people in their lives. They were choosing very carefully and putting a lot of thought into their decisions. There were lots of questions and converstions.
I would like to thank all the people who volunteered at the stall. We couldn’t have done it without you. To take the time out of your day is greatly appreciated.
Also, thank you so much to the families who donated products for the stall. The generosity of our community is amazing.
All money raised from the event will go towards improvements for our school
Staff thank you lunch 🍕
On Wednesday 17th September the P&F (on behalf of our school community) hosted a pizza thank you lunch for Mrs Newell and all our school staff, to say thank you for our awesome Vintage Vinyl school concert!
Shop Fronts
The shop fronts at the front of the school are finished and look amazing! Students have loved playing there and they also look great when passing the school, adding a pop of fun and colour!
The shop fronts were a project the P&F have been working on for the last 12 months and we are really happy with the result!
Halloween Disco
The P&F will run a Halloween Disco during the school day (opt in event on Compass at the start of Term 4) on Friday 31st October. This will be a dress up day at school. Save the date and more information to come!
School Carols Night with Bake Stall
Our school Carols night will be held on Thursday 11th December and the P&F will run our bake stall that evening too. More information will come in Term 4!
