Year 9 Drama in Action:
A Visit to St Thomas'
Our Year 9 Drama students recently had the wonderful opportunity to perform their children's theatre production, It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year, for the Prep and Year 1 students at St Thomas's.
The performance was a great success, with students working incredibly hard in a variety of roles. We had talented performers bringing the story to life on stage, dedicated backstage crew keeping everything running smoothly, and even student prompts helping to support the cast throughout the show.
The production explored the true meaning of Christmas, teaching the younger students about decorating the tree, wrapping presents, helping Mum and Dad prepare for Christmas lunch, and most importantly, taking the time to appreciate the day and the people around them.
The Prep and Year 1 students were a fantastic audience, and it was wonderful to see them engaged, laughing and joining in throughout the performance. We are very proud of the teamwork, commitment and enthusiasm our Year 9 students demonstrated from start to finish. A big thank you to St Thomas's for welcoming us. It was a rewarding experience for everyone involved.
