PE & Sports Update 

Monash Heights Swimming Competition

Last Thursday, a selected group of students from Level’s 4, 5 and 6 competed in individual 50 m events and relay teams in the Monash Heights District Swimming Competition. 

It was a terrific day with everyone giving it their best effort. 

There were some very strong swimmers from the other schools in our District however we managed to have 14 individual swimmers finish in the top 4 of their races and have progressed through to the Division event. We also had 7 of our 8 relay teams progressing to the Division Competition. Our students were extremely competitive all day earning points for our school for the District Championship. 

It was and extremely close finish with Jells Park placing equal second with Essex Hights on 68 points and Wheelers Hill PS winning by only 1 point on 69 points.   

Congratulation to the students who have progressed through to the Division Competition, which will be held on Wednesday 4 March.
